The 9th edition of the Network of the Future (NoF) conference takes place in Poznań, Poland, on November 19-21, 2018. The conference aims at providing a forum for researchers, students, and professionals to exchange ideas, share their experiences, and discuss their research results. The Demo Track of NoF is an opportunity to present novel prototypes and testbeds sharing the main lessons learnt from practical implementations and on-going projects. The single-track nature of NoF guarantees accepted and presented demos a full focus of the conferences attendees.
Areas of interest cover the same areas as the main track of NoF, i.e., Technologies for future Internet, 5G networks, Network protocols and architectures, Quality of service and traffic engineering, Software-defined networking (SDN), Network function virtualization (NFV) and Service Function Chaining (SFC), Cloud computing and networking, Mobile edge and fog computing, Green computing and networking, Content distribution networks, Information-centric networking (ICN), Network intelligence, Cognitive management, Autonomous and selforganized networks, Wireless and mobile networks, Mesh, ad hoc, and sensor networks, Vehicular ad hoc networks and intelligent transportation systems, User-centric networking, Small cells, Femtocell networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine-to-machine networking, Social networking, crowdsourcing, cloud services, Mobile Internet applications, Security, trust, and privacy challenges, Blockchain & smart contracts, Cyber-physical systems, E-services and smart cities, Access, metro, backbone and core networks, Optical networks
Content of the accepted demo papers will be demonstrated through a physical demonstration during the conference. The demonstration can be accompanied with a poster. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. We strongly encourage both academia and industry submissions. Demos accompanied with datasets are more than welcome.
